Around here, we prioritize “Easy”. We don’t love when things get complicated, so we do our best to ensure that our products are as easy to use as possible because we have a hunch that you don’t love complicated things, either.
With that in mind, we want to show you just how easy it is to take care of your Sweet Feeder. In fact, it’s so easy that children can do it! (Which is why I volunteered mine for the job!)
I doubled the recipe for our sugar water, which happened to be 1/2 cup of sugar mixed with a cup of water. I wanted to make sure I had enough left over to store in a container in the fridge.
We have several feeders out, so I gathered all my bottles, plus about 6 extra to fill and store in the fridge.
We started by lining up the bottles on our table with the lids off. It’s easy peasy when you’re able to pour from a liquid measuring cup.
While one poured the other put the lids back on.
Of course, our youngest wouldn’t be left out of the fun of filling the bottles, so they switched.
Our extra bottles went into a little bowl. I stored mine in the fridge and when it was time to replace the ones in my feeder I just carried it out with me.
I brought the old ones in and rinsed them out. Remember the extra sugar water I told you I had stored in the container? I just pulled that out and re-filled the bottles and stuck them back in the fridge.
The house at Fourth & Forrest is always bustling with activity. There are siblings and their children coming in and out, along with no shortage friends and their children. I don’t have time for complicated steps. I’m sure you don’t, either.
Sweet Feeders are perfectly designed to give the freshest nectar for your hummingbirds while keeping your day to day routine simple.
